English rowing champion and double Olympic gold medallist, James Cracknell, and Little Britain's comic star, David Walliams, have completed their "swim to Africa" raising money for the up coming BBC's Sport Relief.
It took them just over 4 and a half hours to complete the 12-mile swim across the Strait of Gibraltar from Spain to Morocco.
Walliams famously swam the English Channel in Sport Relief 2006, raising £1million. This time round he was sick in the water and the pair had seen dolphins and whales. Walliams said that this challenge was more difficult.
'Swimming and throwing up... it shouldn't really go together,' he said.
'It was really tough.'
I can't do 5 lentghs across my local swimming pool never mind swimming across Africa! Hope his sick didn't turn the water green like when you ' relieve' your in the pools...c'mon! you know you used to do it... No.. just me then.. *sigh*
