Final Fantasy XIII Larger Than Life Gallery app


 Makers Square Enix have released an app for the iPhone/ iPod touch turning it into a digital artbook.

The entitled Larger-Than-Life Gallery, contains crystal clear hi-res artwork and give a chance for fans to zoom in and enjoy the detailed artwork. It also features a clock and calender.Priced at £5.49/$8.99 in the app store.

Final Fantasy XIII Released


Fans around the world have been waiting for the next epic Final Fantasy installment from Square Enix and it has finally arrived!

Final Fantasy XIII sees you playing as heroine, Lighting, taking place in a world known as 'Pulse' and revolves around the story of the 'Fal'Cie', mechanical beings with godlike power created by a being called the Maker.

The game is available on both PS3 and Xbox 360 with a Limited collectors edition containing: Special Flip top packaging, A soundtrack CD with tracks specially chosen by composer Masahi Hamauzu, A hardback book featuring character artwork, CG rendered artwork and environments, 3 exclusive art prints and a unique 'L'Cie' decal.

There is also a hardback collectors strategy guide limited to just one print run and each copy will be sequentially numbered. There are 210,000 copies available worldwide.

The graphics and visuals looking nothing short of amazing and you can expect an epic storyline meeting with various unique characters along the way traveling across the vast FF13 universe.

Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core


After what has seemed like a decade of waiting, Square-Enix's Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core, for the PSP, is nearly upon us in the Western part of the planet.

'Crisis Core' is a prequel to the smash hit, Final Fantasy 7, and is mainly focused around a character you get introduced to in FF7, 'Zack' , a 2nd Class SOLDIER, as well as 'Cloud Strife', while he was in the Shinra Guard. Fans of the series can expect to see a few familiar faces as you progress through the game.

The game will take place around the events of Nibelheim in the previous game and around the period based on the anime short 'LAST ORDERS:Final Fantasy VII'

Production was overseen by the director of the original Final Fantasy 7, Yoshinori Kitase. Tetsuta Nomura was the game's character designer and Hajime Tabata was the game's director.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates


The eagerly awaited next installment of the 'Final Fantasy' series, from the RPG legends 'SquareEnix' is about to be released on the Nintendo DS.

'Ring of Fates' is set as a prequel to the original 'Crystal Chronicle' that was released on the Nintendo Gamecube, taking place thousands of years beforehand.

Fans who played the original ' Crystal Chronicles' will know that the 'Great Crystal' was broken into different shards by the fall the Meteor, however in this new prequel we see and play in events that happened previous to this, in other words when the 'Great Crystal' was whole.

'SquareEnix' has also released a special 'Gemini Edition', which is a bundled copy of the game and a 'limited edition' stylised DS lite.
