Super Street Fighter IV arcade sticks

With Super Street Fighter IV on the horizon,  Mad Catz and Capcom have announced a new 'Tournament Edition' arcade stick featuring brand new art work. It will be avalible in 2 styles.

Along with this special edition 4 new FightPads also with new artwork.

Pokemon Soul Silver and Heart Gold

The Pokemon Gold and silver games have been revamped and re released on the Nintendo DS and DSi consoles.

The classics that were first introduced over a decade ago on the Gameboy colour have been updated in graphics and sound as well as added touch screen capabilities.

In Japan the game will also come bundled with a 'Pokewalker', which is a pokeball device with a screen that allows you to transfer a Pokemon you have captured onto it.

As you walk around with the device away from the game, the Pokemon will gain experience points transferred from the 'watts' you have gain while walking around. You can then upload the Pokemon back into the game with its new experience points.

Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo have announced they are working on some new hardware, called the Nintendo 3DS.

They describe the new portable as allowing games to be' enjoyed with 3D effects without the need for any special glasses'. The new hardware will also be backwards compatible with DS and DSi games.

The video above is from a Japan only DSiware game which shows the possibility of how the N3DS could look, feel and play.

According to Nintendo, the product will go on sale between April 2010 and March 2011.

Playstation Move tech demo

Sony gave a tech demo and showed the potential of the Playstation Move at a recent Sony event. Originally aired on Engadget Live.

Final Fantasy XIII Larger Than Life Gallery app

 Makers Square Enix have released an app for the iPhone/ iPod touch turning it into a digital artbook.

The entitled Larger-Than-Life Gallery, contains crystal clear hi-res artwork and give a chance for fans to zoom in and enjoy the detailed artwork. It also features a clock and calender.Priced at £5.49/$8.99 in the app store.

Muramasa Figure

 Momohime, the star of the hit Wii game, Muramasa, will be released as a figure in July.

The 2D side scrolling game, praised for its unique art atyle and music, follows the story of Kisuke, a fugitive who has lost his memory, including that of a crime that he committed and Momohime, a lithe female ronin possessed by a dark spirit.

Final Fantasy XIII Released

Fans around the world have been waiting for the next epic Final Fantasy installment from Square Enix and it has finally arrived!

Final Fantasy XIII sees you playing as heroine, Lighting, taking place in a world known as 'Pulse' and revolves around the story of the 'Fal'Cie', mechanical beings with godlike power created by a being called the Maker.

The game is available on both PS3 and Xbox 360 with a Limited collectors edition containing: Special Flip top packaging, A soundtrack CD with tracks specially chosen by composer Masahi Hamauzu, A hardback book featuring character artwork, CG rendered artwork and environments, 3 exclusive art prints and a unique 'L'Cie' decal.

There is also a hardback collectors strategy guide limited to just one print run and each copy will be sequentially numbered. There are 210,000 copies available worldwide.

The graphics and visuals looking nothing short of amazing and you can expect an epic storyline meeting with various unique characters along the way traveling across the vast FF13 universe.

Life with Playstation

Just unveiled is the 'Life with Playstation' service which provides users with the weather and a spectacular view of the world that is featured in music visualisation of the PS3.

This service is reminiscent of the Wii weather channel however it is in full glorious 1080p HD.

Super mario wedding cake

At first glance it may look like a level from the latest Super Mario Galexy video game on the Nintendo Wii, but in actual fact it is a Super Mario themed wedding cake.

The Super Mario it is based off isn't Super Mario Galexy either, but rater Mario Kart (the interplanetary scene is Rainbow Road).

The level of detail is quite amazing and does look like something straight out of the Mario World.

Pong table

The 21st century update to the classic game of Pong was the work of German designer Moritz Waldemeyer and is currently being exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art.

Waldemeyer’s version uses a combination of 2400 LEDs and two track pads to let you get your game on. Shut down the power and you have a standard table.

Guitar hero DS bundle

A must-have for any on-the-go wannabe rock god, the limited edition Nintendo DS Guitar Hero Bundle includes the game, Guitar grip, and a swanky two-toned silver & black DS Lite with silkscreened Guitar Hero logo.
