KDDI au, is a mobile phone in Japan that is marketed by KDDI, A Japanese telecommunication operator.
According to KDDI, 'au' comes from a few words that the letters 'a' and 'u' stand for. 'a' meaning 'access, always and amenity' and 'u' standing for 'unique, universal and user'.
They released their Spring Collection 2008 in January, featuring 14 phones from many big Japanese brand names such as, Sony Ericsson, Toshiba and Sharp.
It is safe to say that we will never see these types of amazing designed and styled phones over in the west...well not until 50 years time, which seems to be the technology gap between Japan and the rest of the world.
