Bored of the gun metal gray on your AK 47? or maybe you wish you got that Chainsaw in black instead of silver? One desinger thinks that there should be more than colours to have for a 'Fashion gun'.

Peter Gronquist, has used fashion labels to decorate these deadly weapons of destruction for his art exhibition, 'The Revolution will be Fabulous'.

Labels include Hermes, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Coach, Gucci and others.

Concept Designer Gaskmasks

With so much war and fighting around the world everyone will need to be prepared, and how much more prepared do you need to be when you have a designer Gas mask?

The Gask masks are concept designs for a gallery and not for commercial release.

'Designer Gas Masks is an attempt to visualize this state of mind. Because it is only by first acknowledging and then challenging fear that we will all be able to breathe a little easier.'

Murakami Exhibition - Assembly of Mr Pointy

5th April 2008 was the opening of the Murakami Exhibition at Brooklyn Museum.

Many of his artwork and designs will be on display including his ' mascot' Mr Pointy'.

Like in other exhibitions before, a huge grand sized scale of 'Mr Pointy' will be assembled and place at the exhibition.

Hong Kong LV flagship store opens! Kanye West performs

The Louis Vuitton flagship store opened on Friday 14th March 2008 in Hong Kong.

Kanye West performed at the launch party and was said to have 'rocked Hong Kong' with a 30 minute set.

It has opened on 5 Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui (TST). The new store is very spacious inside and is multi-tiered

Even when it was under construction, the people of Hong Kong could tell from the outside that a new LV store was going to be opened. How? Well maybe they spotted a huge sky scraper sized LV luggage box above their heads.

Takashi Murakami, the globally known Japanese contemporary artist, is to hold an exhibition displaying his work at the Brooklyn Museum next month.

If his name sounds familiar then it is possibally due to the fact that he designed and created the album cover for Kanye West's recent album,'Graduation' and he also designed Louis Vuitton's Monogram Multicolore and the smiling cherry blossom handbags and accessories.

Spanning close to around a 100 of his works and projects, the exhibition will highlight Murakami's career and be on display in an 18,500 square foot gallery, revealing works from 1992 up to 2000 and show his progression as an artist.

The exhibition will be to explore his identity and to look into branding. The gallery will open April 5th till July 13th, 2008.
