Install the Sun for a light

 'Stella' designed by Tokujin Yoshioka for the Swarovski Crystal Palace, it will be available for public enjoyment at Milan's Design Week 2010.

Drawing from explorations of his previous work his intentions were to create a 'star'.

'I am drawn to the beauty, transparency and poetry of crystals. crystal is transparent,
but it catches light and brilliance. what is important for me is not just designing another
new chandelier with crystal, but to create a star which shines into the viewer's heart.'

Amy Sol' Karmic Magic exhibition

Amy Sol's 'Karmic Magic' opening is just around the corner -Friday 13th 2008 from 7 till 11 PM at the Thinkspace Gallery In L.A.

Two full painting previews and partial cropped images have left collectors and fans eager for more. Amy's subtle artistry is on full display with her 'Migration' piece.

In addition to thirteen original paintings, Thinkspace will release a limited-edition print of 'Kokiri Carousel', limited to 75 prints and 5 AP, measuring 18" x 22.5" inches including frame with the image at 16" x 20" inches, it will be going for around £75 each at the opening.

Topografika

Section Seven, a Design house and Creative collective, have opened their show, 'Topografika', in Seattle, USA.

Entitled Layerscapes and Lifeforms, three members of Section Seven, Jason Keimig, Jeremiah Whitaker, and Craig Erickson, have presented some work which are used in different mediums (vinyl, sculptural, interactive, and print) exploring creatures and the worlds they inhabit.

Peter Gronquist, has used fashion labels to decorate these deadly weapons of destruction for his art exhibition, 'The Revolution will be Fabulous'.

Labels include Hermes, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Coach, Gucci and others.
