New macbook pro Core i5 and i7

The new range of macbook pros have been announce and they will come shipped with the new intel Core i5 and i7 processors.

The new processors will boost performance up to 50 per cent over the previous generations and the new macbooks will have the NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M discreet graphics card inside.

The Battery life will be around 8-9 hours and the screen will be an LED back-lit glossy display with resolutions up to 1440x900 or 1920x1200 depending on the model.

Sony Vaio E series adding 14" and 17"

Sony has announced they are extending their E series by adding 14 and 17 inch screens to the line.

The 17 inch will have a Full HD 1920x1080 screen while the 14 inch has a resolution of 1600x900 but both will be in a 16:9 ratio.  

Both models will come with a 500GB Hard drive, 4GB DDR3 memory and a ATI Mobility Radeon 5000 series graphics card. They will have 3 side-mounted USB ports and a high-speed eSATA/USB port.

Expect the 17 inch to come packed with a Blu ray player and a full sized keyboard, which the will not be an option for the smaller 14 inch.

They will both come in a variety of bright vibrant high gloss colours from green, pink, blues, white and black.

Dell Minke Ming designed laptop lids

Ming Ming has created some designs for Dell who have placed them on their Inspiron 1525 laptops.

The designs have been named 'Bunch O Surfers' and 'Sea Sky'.
